The 10th JAYP Weninar on YouTube titled "Welcome to the world of diatoms" welcomed Dr. Yuji Kato (Center for Advanced Marine Core Research, Kochi University) as a guest. In the YouTube live, he talked about the wonders of diatoms. We learned that there are many diatoms living around us and they are useful for paleoenvironmental reconstruction and age determination. He also talked about diatom fossils in Antarctica, and I would like to participate in such a research project.
